DALLAS, TX., Oct. 1, 2019 -- MIZIZI announces the arrival of its new Nigeria Baseball Jersey to commemorate the independence day of the country nicknamed the “Giant of Africa.” Nigeria is one of the most populous countries in the world. Its people, diverse in language, religion and tribe, are a proud people. And we are proud to present our newest addition of Nigeria jersey’s to commemorate the country’s 59th anniversary as we retire our black “Naija” Baseball Jersey.
The campaign was created by Nigerian Creative Director, Temi Thomas (@temithomas_), designed by Kenneth William Obeng (@kwesioben), and captured by photographer Paa Kwesi Yanful (@kwesithethird).

The design is reminiscent of the Nigerian soccer team, the Super Eagles, with an eagle design on the right chest and the MIZIZI logo on the left. There is a subtle grey print of wings on the front and back collar of the jersey, along with the country’s nickname “Naija” in white on a bold green sleeve. The jersey also has “NIGERIA” in green across the front and the Independence year, 1960, on the back. This unique streetwear design was curated for all in the diaspora and more specifically, the Nigerian Diaspora. Just like our brand speaks quality, our products do too.
